In a move that will be seen as a major coup for the Bianconeri, the new coach will be announced next month.
The club will have to decide whether to keep the current manager Pierluigi Collina or try a fresh face.
Collina, a former Serie A club president and an expert in footballing culture, has served as the club’s president since 2016.
The 52-year-old has a record of making big changes in Serie A, winning the club two Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia.
The appointment will also see the club move towards an entirely new way of doing business.
The new coach is to be appointed by Juventus President Silvio Berlusconi and his predecessor Andrea Agnelli.
“I am happy to have the support of the new president, Silvian Berluschi, to give us a fresh start and the new challenge that I am looking for,” Collina said.
“The team will be better organised and the organisation will be more organised.
This is a great opportunity for all players to have a positive impact.”
The new Coach of the year The first coach of the next generation is a question mark, but Berlusconi has previously promised that the new manager will have his own ideas and opinions on how to run the club.
Berlusci’s predecessor Silviano Allegri also had his own vision for the club when he took over in 2013, promising the club “will be different, more competitive and stronger”.
It was not to be.
“As a fan of the Biancons and of the club, I want to make sure that the future of the football club is a better one,” Berlusca said at the time.
“It will be different and it will be stronger.”
Berluscan’s appointment was seen as the best chance to bring the club back to its former glory, but things have changed since then.
The Biancones are one of the world’s top clubs and the Biancocelesti have only won once in their history.
The only player to win the Champions League in 2017 was Mario Mandzukic, who also played under the former Biancone boss.
Collinas appointment will not be without its critics, however, with a number of Serie A pundits, players and fans also questioning the future.
“When a man has been a coach in the game for 50 years and hasn’t won anything, it’s not surprising to see that he can make mistakes,” Berlico said in a statement.
“But it is the job of a coach to be able to adapt and to be a good manager.
We must not let the fans down by underestimating him.
The fans are the most important part of football.”
The Biancos have been in Serie B for nearly 40 years, winning four titles in the process.
This will be the first time the club has gone back to Serie A since 2007.
“We are happy with the new management and I’m sure we will achieve great things,” Allegri said.
