By now you’ve heard about the new Android and iOS versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Destiny 2, and there’s no doubt that the two platforms are headed to battle this year.
But if you’re looking to play the first two games on your iOS devices, you’re going to need to use the game update to do so.
In the latest update for Call of War, Activision will be patching Black Ops and Destiny to allow them to be played on iOS and OS X, while also giving players the ability to save their progress between platforms.
The game also introduces a new level called “The World at War” for iOS players, where players can take part in an all-new, high-stakes mission in the World War II-era Pacific Theater.
Additionally, players will be able to play Destiny 2 on iOS when the game launches in late 2018, but that’s only because Destiny 2 will be available for the free-to-play service as well.
For those who are waiting to play Black Ops III on iOS, it’s probably best to wait until 2018, because there will be no Android version of Black Ops until then.
As of this writing, Destiny 2 has yet to be released on iOS or Android, and we won’t be able yet to confirm if Black Ops will be on either platform.
In the meantime, we’re sure that you’re happy to know that Activision is rolling out the new iOS version of Call.
